National Night Out brings our community together with Irondale Police, Fire and 911 Communications for an evening featuring a DJ, games, entertainment, free food and drinks, plus an up-close look at police vehicles, fire trucks, drones, rescue boats and more.
It’s a great family event—and a great chance for our business community to get to know our first responders.
Free and open to the community.

Our featured speaker will be Dr. Melanie Mitros, Executive Director of Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama, who will address the ways cognitive change and caregiving can affect employees, families, and the workplace, along with practical resources and support.
We are also pleased to welcome Alabama House Representative Susan DuBose, who will provide a brief legislative update along with insight into the positive momentum and issues affecting Alabama’s business community.
Join Guin Cares for a special reception recognizing this year’s recipients and celebrating their dedication to serving the Irondale community.
This year, Guin Cares is honoring two local teachers who continually go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of others.
